Bob brings over 30 years of experience working in several basins including the Uinta, San Joaquin, DJ, Piceance, Green River, Powder River, Big Horn, Williston, and most recently the Central Basin Platform in West Texas. Bob spent 26 years with Marathon Oil, holding various engineering, supervisory, HES, operations and asset leadership positions. He managed Marathon’s Rocky Mountain region assets for many years, retiring in 2015. Prior to Marathon Oil, Bob worked for Dowell Schlumberger in several locations across the US. He has extensive experience managing large organizations and improving organizational operating efficiencies. Bob has a consistent track record of driving value by increasing conventional reservoir oil recoveries through improved completion and stimulation practices, new infill drilling programs, horizontal drilling, new waterfloods, and existing waterflood optimization. He has also managed several oil and gas property acquisitions, successfully integrating them into existing operational organizations. Bob has authored several technical papers on innovative cementing and stimulation techniques and has extensive experience working with various stakeholders including state and federal agencies as well as Tribal leaders and agencies.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech in Butte, Montana and is a registered professional engineer in various states.
